Creamy Chicken Italiano
4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 envelope Good Seasoning Italian salad dressing 1 can of low fat cream of mushroom soup 1 can of low fat cream of chicken soup 2 TBS. low fat mayonaise 2 TBS. low fat sour cream 4 baked potatoes/or mashed potatoes for four
Mix envelope of dressing mix with 3/4 cup of water. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker and cover with dressing water. Cook for 6 hours on low. Mix together cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, mayonaise and sour cream together, pour over chicken. Cook for another hour. Serve with baked or mashed potatoes, serves four.
Side note: My husband and I like this with cut up baked potatoes, and then we drizzle the gravy over them. I don't like potato skins, but this way I eat somewhat healthy and I like what I eat. And the kids love this recipe, when I make this, I have empty plate at all four place settings!
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matthew 6:25-27
