 Cleaning the Stove
« Thread Started on May 13, 2004, 11:27am »

This morning my husband pulled the stove out from the all so we could sweep and mop underneath. We also scrubbed the sides and the top and inside. The stove is nice a clean now. :) This is something a lot of people never think to do. After 20 years... can you imagine the dirt and grime and gunk under a stove??! Yuck! I suggest a thorough cleaning like this twice a year. If you don't you could have enough crumbs and spills under the stove to feed millions of bugs for years....

Something to think about!

I am so thankful that I have a counter mounted stove top! It is bad enough to have to clean out under the fridge but to have to do a stove/oven combo.

You are right, of course, cleaning out under the kitchen appliances is an absolute necessity. Not a fun job but if you do it every 6 months it is managable and not so bad as waiting for years to do it.
