 Organize Meal Planning!

Hi Everyone,

My name is Sumi (my userID is QueenLadyFair) and I am a new member of A Virtuous Woman. I have a good tip on organizing weekly meals and making life much easier in this regard.

1) Make a weekly chart and list meals you'll be making for each day of the week.

2) Corresponding to the meals chart, make a weekly grocery list from ingredients you'll need to prepare meals you've decided on for the week.

This isn't as time consuming as you might think and it saves a lot of time in the long run! I find it so handy to do this and it saves time by not having to run to the grocery store for something you forgot and need and it also has enabled us to order out less often and therefore save $$! I hope you find this as handy a tip as I do!

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
May the rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Hi Sumi,

I do think that menu planning is a good idea. I have never been able to get myself to the point that I make it work for me.

I am glad that you have found a system that makes you life easier and more organized.

Sumi,

This is a very handy tip! Some of you may know that you can print free weekly menu charts in our household notebook! If you haven't done this yet, you don't know what you're missing! Here is the link:
